Ferret kisses to the many people who contribute the time and/or money we need to keep the doors open, including, but not limited to, Bobby Velasques and Family, The Hammonds, The Webbs, The Bergmans, Judy G., Katy C., and many others.

The Osborns, who continue to be gernerous in several ways. They tend to shop from our Wish List and bring us the things we need. Sue also sews sleep sacks and blankies.

Mark, who manages the Banister PetSmart and talks about us all the time. He includes us in good donation programs, and provides space for our education days.

Those of you who have contributed cages and toys. It's great to have these for adopters.

The volunteers, who help make time available for the rest of my life by cleaning cages, scrubbing litter pans, helping with laundry, and washing floors. These special people include:

• The ever-faithful Jean Leser. As directress-protem she took charge during much of May while Bobbi and Edwina traveled to Montana.
• Teri - who answered Jean's 911 call and spent much time making sure that Tucker got the care he needed.
• Becky - who frequently comes from Warrensburg to clean ears, treat for mites, and to do ferret manicures.
• Edwina - who helps at least once a week or more. She pitches in without complaint (she has to, she lives here).
• Pamela - who comes in from Paola once a week and whips the shelter into shape.
• Liana - who comes regularly on Sunday to clean cages and tend to ferret hygene.
• June Phipps and Patty Myers - June does our informational mailings. June and Patty together (wo)man information tables at Banister PetSmart on the third Saturday of the month. Join them for a fun time!
• Dr. Dean Kolich, who takes careful care of our sick and infirm foundlings. His surgical skills have saved and improved many ferret lives.
• Andrew D. Taylor - for the use of the animal tracks font.
